Warning
Check graphite shafts for damage before each shot. Proper care of graphite shafts will ensure many years of quality performance. Shafts can be damaged by a severe hit and/or impact by another arrow. Hitting against hard objects can also cause damage not readily apparent. Holding the shaft by both ends, bend it away from your body and inspect the arrow for loose fiber, nicks or cracks (rotate and repeat the inspection). Inspection should be done after each shot. Split or cracked shafts must not be used as the shaft could break causing injury. Arrows must be cut one and one half inches beyond the edge of the arrow rests’ contact point with the arrow at full draw. Arrows cut to incorrect length may jam and cause injury. Care should also be taken to ensure your arrow is properly positioned in the bow and rest before shooting. Improperly positioned or overdrawn arrows may cause jamming, injury or both.
